Multimedia Video Project
June 2011

For my final assignment in online journalism, I was assigned to produce a story using multiple forms of media. I chose to make an audio slideshow using pictures, video interviews and sound clips. My video covers a service project put on by Ohio University's chapter of the Alpha Phi Omega Community Service Fraternity. One of the fraternity's main projects is Monday Lunch, where members serve free lunch to struggling residents in the Athens, Ohio, area. In June, one member of Alpha Phi Omega decided to expand upon the Monday Lunch program by creating the first Friday Dinner, and my video chronicles the story of all the work she and other members put into planning and coordinating the event. I posted the video to a blog site and the video is also on YouTube.
